Background History of the Commodity Chain
ARCADIE has been buying the plants to SICARRAPAM co-op for more than 10 years. The company wanted to intensify this cooperation and to develop a strong partnership via the Bio Solidaire approach.
Description of the partnership
The objective of the partnership is to guarantee quality supplies to Arcadie and durable orders for SICARRAPAM. Work was done on purchase prices to ensure suitable revenues to pickers. Arcadie also supplies its qualified team to the members of SICARRAPAM to assist them on the implementation of an HACCP system.
Consumers are made aware of the origin of products, mentioned on the packaging.
