Background History of the Commodity Chain

Pain de Belledonne started to work directly with Ferme Pommart (GAEC d'Allicoud) in 1991. Pain de Belledonne, represented by Alain Pommart, then made the suggestion to two other farms (GAEC des Vorsys, GAEC de Chamoussiére), to transform their wheat production (25 and 50 ha / 60 and 120 acres) into BIO SOLIDAIRE flour and to get equipped with a stone millstone while taking advantage of the 16 year experience of Ferme Pommart (technical, social and economical input).

The GAEC Forest integrated the common wheat chain in 2009.

In march 2010, a new small spelt chain was implemented with GAEC Chamoussière and GAEC Forest.
